The Season That Made Me Stop Running

I want to tell you the truth about how Seankingis started — not the polished version, but the real one. Because the real one is the one that matters.

I was a mother, a professional, a woman doing her absolute best. And for a long time, I kept going. I kept pushing. I kept showing up, because as long as I was moving, I didn't have to feel what I was quietly carrying.

Then came a season where I could no longer outrun what I'd been quietly carrying. And in that stillness, the kind that only comes when everything else falls away — God spoke.

"When He brought me to that place of stillness, I thought it was the end. It turned out to be the beginning of everything."

He told me to write. So I wrote. And what came out of those pages wasn't just words,it was healing. It was me, finding myself again one sentence at a time.

Chapter Two

The Name That Holds Everything

Seankingis. It's not a word you'll find in any dictionary, and that's exactly the point. This name belongs to my three children. It was built from pieces of them, woven together into one word, one brand, one declaration of love.

Three reasons I kept going when I wanted to stop. Three reasons I chose healing over hiding. Three reasons this brand exists.

Everything we create carries their names. Every tea blended, every book written, every product curated, it's all an extension of what I want to build for them and for the families who find us.

"I didn't name this brand after my children to put them on display. I named it after them because they are the reason I poured back into myself, and I want that for every family that finds us."

Chapter Three

Four Books. All Written in Healing.

I am a published author, but not because I chased a title. I am a published author because writing saved me.

Each book that came out of me was another layer of grief turned into grace. Another room inside myself I had been too afraid to enter. Page by page, the woman who felt broken started to find her shape again.

3 published books and a prayer journal later, I know this: healing is not a destination. It's a practice. A daily returning to yourself. And that's exactly what Seankingis is built to support.
